Chip Millhuff Low Res

Charles Millhuff, DO, Director of Medical Services: Dr. Charles Millhuff has been with FSGC for 18 years and has 25 years of medical experience. He graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University (Olathe, KS) and completed his medical education at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine (Kansas City, MO). Dr. Millhuff received his Residency Training at the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry. He also completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Menninger School. Dr. Millhuff was on staff at Menninger before joining FSGC. He is Board Certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Millhuff has provided consultation to a variety of organizations and schools including Capital City School (middle/high school), Hope Street Elementary Program and Pine Ridge Prep (pre-school). He is a nationally known expert in early childhood psychiatric treatment.

Kirby Pope Low Res

Kirby Pope, MD: Dr. Kirby Pope has 28 years of medical experience, including 15 years at FSGC. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also completed a General Psychiatry Residency. He completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Pope is a graduate from the Adult Training Program and the Training Program in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis from the Topeka Institute for Psychoanalysis. Dr. Pope has received board certification in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also has certification in Psychoanalysis and in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis from The American Psychoanalytic Association. Dr. Pope is a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis in the practice of Psychoanalysis and in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis.

Shelly Allen Low Res

Shelly Allen, MS, AC, APRN: Shelly Allen has been an APRN for 14 years, 12 with FSGC. She graduated from the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas Medical Center. Ms. Allen also received her Masters of Science-Certified in Family Psychiatry Mental Health Practitioner from KU. She received professional experience and training at Menninger and Stormont Vail Behavioral Health Center in her 19 years as a nurse. In addition to general mental health conditions, Ms. Allen has specialty training in substance-related and addictive disorders.

Vicki Claassen Low Res

Vicki Claassen, APRN: Vicki Claassen has been an APRN for 16 years and was a registered nurse for four years prior to that. She has been with FSGC for 15 years. Ms. Claassen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and a master's in Nursing-Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wichita State University. She also received experience and training at Menninger in the adult Trauma Recovery Program, adult and children's Eating Disorder Units and the Acute Child and Adolescent Unit. Ms. Claassen is ANCC certified in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Mechele Ford Low Res

Mechele Ford, MSN, APRN-BC: Mechele Ford has been a nurse practitioner for 24 years and has been a member of FSGC's staff for 17. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and Master of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University, and has worked in psychiatry, mostly in pediatrics, throughout her career. Ms. Ford received experience and training from Menninger in various positions before joining FSGC, where she also serves as Nursing Operations Manager. She specializes in Pediatric Psychiatry and is ANCC certified in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Shanna Ziegler Low Res

Shanna Ziegler, MS, APRN: Shanna Ziegler has 27 years of nursing experience, including 19 as an APRN. She has been with FSGC since 2007. She graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the University of Kansas with a Master of Science in Nursing. Shanna worked in various capacities at Menninger and assisted in their transition to Houston. Since returning to Kansas she has gained broad experience in community mental health and has a number of clinical interests in pediatric mental health.
