FSGC Recognizes 2020 Distinguished Staff
FSGC is pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 “Making a Difference” Award, given for providing direct therapeutic or administrative support that helps northeast Kansas children and their families.
The 2020 winners are:
- Drew Belanger – Clinical Staff
- Sarah Bubna – Case Manager/Care Coordinator
- Romie Chavez – Supervisory Staff
- Lacey Clark – Mental Health Specialist
- Sylvia Hollis – Support Staff
- Joshua Smart – Attendant Care Provider
Brenda Mills, CEO, said, “Every FSGC staff member is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the kids and families we serve. Each year, however, a handful of staff members are nominated by their co-workers because they provide service that consistently exceeds expectations. From those nominations, our ‘Making a Difference’ Award recipients are selected.”
Awards are presented in six staff categories each year. A committee of FSGC staff members representing all areas of the agency reviewed nominations. Recipients of the award are selected for effectiveness in their work with children, families and co-workers; zeal in promoting the advancement of mental health; and professional interest and involvement.
