Works of Heart

About the Event

The 14th annual Works of Heart Art Event was a huge success!

It takes more than a pandemic to keep Family Service & Guidance Center friends and supporters from providing hope and healing to northeast Kansas children.

The first-ever virtual Works of Heart Event -- held Friday, August 14 -- was livestreamed to a worldwide audience and raised $104,310! The outpouring of love and support shown to FSGC kids and families during the event exceeded all expectations.

Ten pieces of amazing artwork by FSGC clients ranging in age from five to 18 were auctioned off, along with donated professional art, photos, unique home décor items, handcrafted pottery, jewelry and more. Works of Heart also included a virtual social hour featuring music from the Kings of Swing Jazz Quintet.

The children who created the featured Works of Heart artwork are all Family Service & Guidance Center clients. They were introduced to viewers individually via photos and recognized for their amazing talent and creativity.
