The Receptionist is responsible for answering heavy phone lines, greeting clients, collecting payments, appointment scheduling, closing office, etc.  Computer skills required.  Customer service skills essential.  Hours between 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, 40 hours wk. Psychosocial Team Leader

Family Service & Guidance Center, one of the Midwest’s leaders and an innovator in children’s mental health care, has an exciting new opportunity available.

FSGC is accepting applications for the position of Team Leader for our Youth Development Program (YDP). This program provides behavioral health services to youth in community schools and at our state-of-the art campus. 

The Team Leader shall possess a master’s degree and have a valid license to practice at the clinical level (LSCSW, LCP, LP, LCMFT, etc.) in the state of Kansas. This position will provide direct clinical services, clinical supervision, manage operational aspects of the program, liaison with community partners and be a member of Family Service & Guidance Center’s supervisory team. Supervisory experience is preferred and experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances and their families is required.

Part-Time Driver

PT Driver needed to transport emotionally disordered children ages 6 & under & children 7-18 years of age to & from psychosocial services. This is a 20-hour per week position Monday thru Friday. Hours are between 11:30am-5:00pm with a 90 minute lunch break. Will be driving agency vehicle/bus. Up to 12 children on vehicle at a time. Must be at least 21 years of age, need a valid KS Driver’s license & a good motor vehicle driving record. Must pass all background checks.

Attendant Care Provider - Part-Time

Part-time ACP's are needed to work one-on-one with children who have behavioral health barriers and are diagnosed with a severe emotional disorder. ACP's are responsible for assisting children in learning skills established by the treatment team. These skills are aimed at improving their behavioral health to help improve their functioning in all areas of life. Services are provided in a variety of settings including at school, in the home and out in the community.

Desired Skills - People who are able to build relationships and connect with children. *People who are willing to do fun interactive activities including things like playing board games, going fishing, and playing basketball to help children learn skills in a natural setting. *People who are organized and able to manage difficult schedules and documentation. *People who are able to manage stressful situations and behaviors. *People who are able to think quickly on their feet. *People who are willing to transport children in their own vehicle within Shawnee County.

Position Requirements - Individuals 18 years of age or older with one year post-secondary education in a social service related field, one year of documented experience with children, or a combination of education and experience. Must have valid Kansas driver's license, up to date car insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Must pass a background and drug test.

Crisis Attendant Care Provider

Enjoy working with children? Individuals 21 years of age & older needed to work one on one with Severely Emotionally Disturbed Children ages 5 to 17 in crisis house & community. Applicants must have a high school diploma & a combination of 2 years of documented experience & post-secondary education in a human services-related field. CRP ACP's must successfully pass all applicable background checks & possess a valid Kansas driver's license. A good driving record, proof of insurance & reliable transportation is necessary to complete job duties. Crisis House is staffed 24/7. Position is hourly, on-call. Part-time on-call staff must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

On-Call Crisis Clinician

On-call Crisis Clinician positions available. Flexible work hours (you choose: one weekend a month; one evening a week, one evening every other week, etc.). Licensed Master Level Clinician (LSCSW or LMSW) or relevant licensure required. Clinician is expected to provide crisis interventions & be required to complete preadmission screens for hospitalization of children & adolescents. Position requires on-call work & services are provided in homes, schools, office & community settings. Position will offer opportunity for working in close collaboration with other community agencies. Experience in working with severely emotionally disturbed children & youth preferred.

Assistant Director of Human Resources

The Assistant Director of Human Resources will be an integral and hands-on professional who provides a broad range of HR objectives and initiatives in support of our mission to provide quality behavioral healthcare for children and families.

Position overview:

Provide a broad range of HR assignments including recruitment and employment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and leading the selection of an HRIS. Effectively collaborate with other members of the HR team and organizational hiring managers.

Diverse assignments include:

Recruit talent necessary to support the workforce needs of the organization. Use of progressive approaches such as social media, external partnerships, career fairs and other means to develop a long-range talent pipeline.

Employee relations and performance including connecting with staff and hiring managers to affect a positive culture through coaching, training, and evaluation of performance that lead to retention and employee satisfaction.

Monitor human resource related regulatory requirements to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance.

Participate in benefit design that appeals to the targeted talent pool. Benefit plan administration.

Review, recommend and lead implementation of an HRIS system.

Provide backup to the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or closely related field. 8+ years of progressive HR experience required. PHR or SHRM-CP Certification. Prior recruiting experience required, preferably in a non-profit healthcare or human service field. Prior experience with HRIS software evaluation, recommendation and implementation required. Demonstrated track record of honesty and integrity. Knowledge of employment law. Willingness to travel as necessary.
