Achieving balance means something different for everyone – whether it's going on vacation, meeting people with similar interests or spending time with family and friends. FSGC offers nine paid holidays each year for full-time employees. Benefit-eligible employees accrue generous amounts of vacation and sick leave that increase with your years of service.
Comprehensive, affordable personal medical insurance options allow each employee to keep healthy. FSGC pays 70 percent of health and dental insurance for staff members. Flexible spending accounts are also available to assist employees with their health and childcare expenses.
Our scenic campus includes a half-court gym, cafeteria, state-of-the-art therapy suites, playground for children age 2-6, plenty of green space and trees and a fishing pond encircled by a walking trail.
FSGC offers a 401(k) retirement plan and will provide a 1 percent match for an employee who contributes 4 percent of their salary each pay period to their retirement plan. Retirement account planners visit FSGC quarterly to help qualified employees enroll and develop an individualized plan that will help them achieve their retirement goals.
Family Service & Guidance Center offers a limited number of educational opportunities for outstanding students in mental health.
Bachelor's and Master's Student Practicum Placements

Students interested in applying for a practicum at FSGC should submit a resume and application (see "Employment") to the Coordinator of Training and Education. Qualified students will be selected and offered an interview.
Applicants must pass background checks and a drug screen. If offered a placement, the student must complete several mandatory trainings, both online and in-person. Practicum students will receive at least one hour per week of supervision from a qualified mental health professional.
